Orpington Technologies ("Orpington", "we", "us") operates this website and the Implementation Confidence Diagnostic. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and how it's handled, in accordance with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

What we collect. Diagnostic answers you submit (self-reported, not tied to an account unless you request the full report); if you contact us or request a report, your name, work email, company, and message content; and, from everyone who visits, technical visit data: your IP address, browser and device details, the approximate location and network (ISP) that your IP address maps to, the pages you view, the page that referred you, and the time of each visit.

Why we collect it. To generate your instant Confidence Score, to respond to report requests and enquiries, and to improve the diagnostic model. We do not sell personal information.

Diagnostic data. The free instant score is calculated entirely in your browser. Your answers are not transmitted to our servers unless you explicitly request the full report.

Cookies. We use one cookie to remember your cookie choice (ot_consent, kept 12 months). Only if you accept, we also set two analytics cookies: a visit cookie (ot_sid, 30 minutes, renewed with each page you view) that groups your page views into one visit, and a returning-visitor cookie (ot_vid, 3 months from your last visit) that recognizes you when you come back. Each holds only a random ID and no personal details. If you decline, these two cookies are not set (and are removed if present). You can change your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” in the footer.

Server logs and site statistics. Whether or not you accept cookies, our server records each page view with your IP address, browser (user agent) and the approximate location and network derived from your IP address, for security, abuse prevention and site statistics. Your IP address and raw browser string are deleted 30 days after the visit; the remaining statistics (country, city, network, browser, page viewed) are kept. Without cookies, visits from the same device are linked only within a single day. Location lookups use a database stored on our own server, so your IP address is not sent to a third party for this.

Your rights. Under PIPEDA, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you. To exercise these rights, contact us at info@orpingtontech.com.

Electronic messages. If you provide your email to request a report or subscribe to updates, we will only send commercial electronic messages with your consent, in accordance with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL), and every message includes a way to withdraw consent.

Retention. Contact and report-request information is retained only as long as needed to respond to your enquiry and fulfil legal or accounting obligations, then securely deleted. Server-log IP addresses and browser strings are deleted after 30 days.

Accuracy. We make reasonable efforts to keep this site and diagnostic accurate, but make no warranty, express or implied, as to completeness or fitness for a particular purpose.

Limitation of liability. To the maximum extent permitted by the laws of Saskatchewan and Canada, Orpington is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of this site or the diagnostic.

Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Saskatchewan and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Intellectual property. The diagnostic methodology, scoring model, and site content are the property of Orpington Technologies and may not be reproduced without permission.
